I've been looking around for a CNC cutter/laser to cut out certain standard shapes. We mainly use xpreg XC 110 and XC 130 (unidirectional). I came across the CNC-step machines. On their site it says they can cut prepreg with an oscillating knive, but in reality it turns out there are some issues. Does anyone know of a system or manufacturer that allows CNC cutting of prepreg materials?

Yes, but in this case it seems to me there is no protection foil/release film on the material. That leads me to think this is not uncured prepreg. I’ve asked a manufacturer but they said cutting cured fibre panels was not a problem, but they had difficulties cutting uncured fibres.
