I feel nobody is reading what the OP is actually asking haha.

OP, for what it's worth - I have tried an oscillating knife on a 6040 CNC router to cut uncured XC110. It was a disaster. The material tends to grab at the cutter after a few cuts, meaning it will start off cutting ok and then it will randomly grab the cutter and bunch and the cutter will proceed to ruin everything in true CNC fashion. I have no idea if this was due to the quality of the cutter, though it wasn't cheap (cost me about AU$300 for the single blade and holder). I also don't know if I could have got it to work with some effort, I gave up on the idea and decided that any pre-preg I am cutting on a 6040 bed is quick enough to cut by hand, even if it's a bit laborious.

Yeah, good point :-)

My work uses ultrasonic blades to cut prepreg even then after a while they need to changed or cleaned from the resin
