I've used a simialr setup for heating water for hydrographics! Be very careful with that solid state relay!!! I highly recommend you buy a heat sink to disipate the heat that will be caused from that SSR. I've seen to many fires/equipment failure from people not providing the proper cooling.

Thanks to this thread i build my oven, well its almost done and its almost similar. Made it 110cm x 100cm x 60cm and 2.5kw element, heats up pretty fast. Hardest part to find some rockwool with Alu foil on a top here in Spain.
Hopefully its ready in next few days.
Im glad it helped you..
Mine works really well and holds the heat a lot better than i thought it would.
The hardest part was working out how to use the pid controller

Another update.
Fan motor mounted
So that's a fan-forced oven element & fan? That looks like a nice, simple install.

Thank you! I'll search also for other stuff

I got mine off ebay, a "used" CAL 9400 process controller. I paid about £50 for it and was brand new in box.
Whichever model/make you get ensure it's SSR compatable, look for Eurotherm too, another good make

For a good one:

For a cheap one, eBay. Just be aware that the ones on ebay can take some modification to make work, eg. not compatible with an SSR.
