I really like the use of the textreme instead of doing the usual herringbone v. I might have to do that when i get round to making the bonnet for the caterham

Thanks All
Well pleased with the weight reduction of this part, considering I have raised the height of the new part.
Goal was to reduce the weight of this bonnet air scoop to under 1kg.
This new 4 layer carbon fibre part is around 900 grams, minus some trimming + some clear coat
So the new part is over 1kg lighter than the original glass fibre part + it has a go faster stripe !
The spread tow Go faster stripe was cut with easy composites

That looks great! Very cool.
How did you cut the strip of spread tow? Just with scissors?

Very nice looking scoop! Particularly like the use of the Spread Tow carbon down the middle.

Hi Scottracing
The rear arches are on my list, probably going to do the rear arches pair after I finish the bonnet air in take mould
Have you seen these
carbon-fibre-rear-wings-for-caterham
by carbon mods.
Update, some pictures of the extended bonnet mould in progress.
Next build a wooden frame around the back of the mould for support.
Compound back the mould finish, and polish polish polish
