You can see the spiral tubing best in this picture, I usually run the spiral tubing close to the bagging sealing tape, from the input, output, but never join in a continuous loop so the resin has to flow though the stack to reach the output.

Friend of a friend one of the new owners of the Dax Rush Project sprayed them, these products got some interest in there shop! about 5 coats with a touch of plasticiser.

About 600grams each compared with 1100grams of the previous ones so about a kilo of weight reduction overall for the pair.

Engine is a standard Busa lump with a Tornado ECU Specialist Components tuned at TTS

Nice  Is it M.A.N Motorsport who have taken over the Rush project? Good to see someone willing to keep it going, always liked the Rush. Its just that bit different from most of the other 7 types. The front Camber Compensation appeals as well, I like outside the box thinking

Hi Warren,

Yes M.A.N Motorsport took it over the chassis building and there building a new rush chassis should be interesting, Mine is the Rush MC round tube with Camber Compensation works very well..
Another paint company took over moulding/paint they sprayed the front wings there was interested in my carbon fibre products as they are only doing decorative carbon with glass fibre, but not very well had run in with original owner.

Was quite interesting how it worked out as the reason I got into this whole "composite thing" was after the original owners of Dax in Harlow sold me these Horrific Wings and other Parts.
I was so pissed of when I unwrapped them felt completely mugged off got my money back but he tried making excuses.

They where so bad they inspired me into starting my own mini composite workshop in the garage and start building my own parts

And thanks to these helpful people here I am

Seen similar from other suppliers. When carbon began to become popular they simply tried replacing the coloured gelcoat for one layer of carbon backed up with the usual CSM wet laid with poly resin. No vac bagging and certainly no infusion. With no gelcoat to hide behind the imperfections where on show. Because customers didn't know any different it became the norm unfortunately.

these carbon wings look really good, im starting to look into making a set for a caterham CSR that im working on out here in germany, and was looking for some information on how to make the rear arches as the propper ones have rolled lips and the mounting face. Are you going to make rear arches too for the dax?
