You can get medical autoclave but even they are a few grand

i know theyre pretty damn pricy, just that when it comes to me and sourcing expensive equipment i usually end up finding the worst product ha

Unless you're making top end components, you don't need an autoclave, ooac pre preg covers most aspects now, and given the cost of maintaining and buying an autoclave, most people can live with the little bit of extra weight from a couple extra layers

As you dont want an opinion on buying or not buying. I will just say get one with an interlocking door not a bolt fixture one. The last thing you want is the bolts letting go and an exploding autoclave door...

You will need to make sure it has a good manifold system and controllers to allow for pressure increases as the temp rises.. basic ones do not do this with the controller and you may have to vent excess pressure manually..

As long as you have 1vac line going in and a gauge linked to the system that's all you need to start with it can be VERY basic and will work 99% as well as an all singing all dancing pc controlled clave

All depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend

I have seen a homemade autoclave made from a propane bottle, about 1m long and 35cm diameter. Unfortunately the forum this was posted in doesn't exist anymore, I only have two pictures:

Nod sure I would go with the round heating elements that size vessel your heat distribution is going to be good even without a fan and there is an awful lot of fire risk with a 360 deg coverage of elements
