Group: Forum Members Posts: 54, Visits: 916	Im getting minor bridging around the base of the raised areas (see pic) Do any of you guys think it is possible to get everything down into the tight corner?

Definitely possible. Easier with pre-preg, but certainly not impossible with infusion. You're very very close.

It could be done without cutting the fabric, but the fibre alignment would look nicer if you cut out the bumps and cover them with small circular pieces. That way, it would be much easier to avoid...

One problem I see here, is that two of the bumps are in line with one of the fibre directions. So if you are trying to work on the bridging of one bump, you pull on the other. Better drape...

As I paint my carbon alignment wouldn't be an issue for me, but I take your point. :-)

This is exactly the issue I'm having. Im pushing into the corner of one bump and can see it pulling away from the other. I think I'm going to cut circles out where the bumps are and try that

An other option might be to lay down the cloth slightly diagonal, that there are no bumps along the fibre directions.
