Trouble with perfect finish

Group: Forum Members Posts: 26, Visits: 89	Hi I'm doing resin infusion and I'm very happy with the glossy finish apart from some tiny gaps around the fibres on the surface finish.any ideas where I might be going wrong? Group: Forum Members Posts: 26, Visits: 89	So clamp the vac side first then leave the resin side pumping for another 20-30 secs then clamp the resin side off is this what you mean I read something like this in another post didn't no weather it was applicable to my problem.It quite confusing in the ec guide it tells you to do it another conflicting info. Group: Forum Members Posts: 2.5K, Visits: 28K	It's dry. You have either clamped the resin too early, or you have allowed too much resin to be drawn out of the laminate after clamping the resin line. Don't clamp the resin feed first. Either clamp at the same time, or if a cosmetic finish is paramount, clamp the vacuum line first and then after 20-30 seconds clamp the resin line. Group: Forum Members Posts: 300, Visits: 2.2K	As previously said clamp the resin output line first and allow the vacuum in the bag to suck in some resin before clamping the resin input line this should give you a nice resin rich part, without the pin holes The clamping time can vary depending on the area of the sheet your pulling.
