Greetings,

I am in the states and received my pre-preg starter kit in an unbelievably quick 2 days!

My question is, now that the pre-pre has been room temp  (probably higher on the delivery truck) for 48 hrs, can I put it back in the fridge to extend the shelf life until I can work on the project this weekend?

Yes you can re-freeze prepreg to extend it's life, although you won't get the full outlife out of it as it will take time to re-freeze and defrost again. Just make sure it's wrapped up properly so it doesn't condensate internally on defrosting

If you are making the same part a few times over a longer period of time (longer than it's outlife) then you can defrost completely, cut out all the sections you need for all the parts, then separate into effectively layup kits and re-freeze the kits. Then you can defrost the kit as and when required.

Thanks for the reply.

Currently I have the pre-preg in the refrigerator....do you think this is suboptimal (short-term) storage temperature?
