applying release agent on anodized surface

Hello,

I want to use aluminium tube as a mandrel for making carbon fibre tubes (using prepreg). but the tube surface is Anodized.
can i apply release agent on a anodized surface?

Nah I don't mean a tool sealer, I mean as part of the anodizing process the anodizing should be sealed afterwards. Not all places will do it without it being requested, because there can also be benefits to unsealed - one of them being an unsealed anodized surface is very easy to bond to. 

A sealed anodized mandrel should not present any issues for release.

Ah sorry now i understand. It was a commercially available tube i would assume it was sealed. But as i mentioned before I only ever tried this one part so who knows what happened...
