Hi guys!
I'm beginner laminator so I will be appretiate you for you help.

I have a round shaped mold. There is common 2 plies of 200 g 4H satin carbon fabric and extra 4 plies on the other area (support area).
I have no idea how to impregnate this one by minimal quantity of resin. I guess I need at least two points of resin feed. One of this needed to be in the geometrical center of support area.
Thanks

Hi Bob,

the situation isn't clear to me, I can't understand the shape of your mold and where you must put carbon and resin.
Can you elaborate it a little better? Maybe some picture of the mold.

Hi

In fact my part is oval shaped as I've drawn above (not round shaped)

It's a flat part as well but has two plies on the whole area of the part and extra four plies on the area that I've drawn above.

I don't know how to do infusion: where to locate feed line, quantity and where to locate vacuum

if the laminate has one thickness - it's ok, I understand, but how to do infusion if you have two areas with two different thickness
