Hey so if done some bike panels in carbon skinning the process went really well right up till final sand with 400 grit the panels have started to peel almost like orange peel on the resin, I'm now completely stuck on how to progress forward

If your skinning I just use surf board poly resin. .crystal clear, higher temp rating.easy sandandcuresin 10mins if it's warm
. final coat adds me wax additive and seals and cures so it can be sanded

I personally think the XCR resin is an excellent product for skinning pieces. I don't skin that much pieces because I prefer using moulds and resin infusion or prepreg, but when skinning pieces XCR is the best resin I've tried so far. Never had problems with it so far. Just need to be sure to mix it well and use it in the correct conditions like on the TDS.
Most important thing is to use it in a stable environment, so avoid having big temperature changes.
