Hey so if done some bike panels in carbon skinning the process went really well right up till final sand with 400 grit the panels have started to peel almost like orange peel on the resin, I'm now completely stuck on how to progress forward

Looks like you've applyed resin after the tackyness has gone so it hasn't bonded to the previous resin coat. Xcr resin by any chance?

I think I missed it by half hour, silly me for applying it, yes its xcr, I don't no we're to go from here?

Try pic of any loose resin and sand it back.. then reapply another few coats of resin

when you wet it out with just a bit of water, do you still see the marks? if not you are ok to apply next layers on top. It is probably where you've sanded through different coats

When wiped with a wet micro fibre you still can see the marks, what would you advise next??

Wipe it with acetone, I hated xcr resin.. it does this all the time and why I stopped using it

If your skinning I just use surf board poly resin. .crystal clear, higher temp rating.easy sandandcuresin 10mins if it's warm . final coat adds me wax additive and seals and cures so it can be sanded
