Ok here is a question, I would like to know if it is possible to lay (4) small molds is a casting box, using the resin infusion process for a parts run, end result (4) parts ready for finishing.

Now take in consideration that everything is done properly, gel coating, bagging, correct amount of resin etc.

could you elaborate please.

Welll, yea I forgot if you were doing a shallow part then you could get away with it. I don’t think 4 molds would be quite 4 times the prep work, but it would make sealing up the mold a bit more of a pain and you would have to run a set of lines on each.
The rest of the stuff you gotta do 4 times regardless how many molds you use.

Yeah I think this is one of those things that could work-out to be a real time-saver or a total inconvience depending on the type of parts you are making... I agree with the other guys, if the parts are fairly simple and flat running a few together could work out really well, otherwise bagging it might be pretty tough!
