Hi

How You archive matte or satin finish to mould? Using Vinylester/polyester Tooling Gel.

Sanding wet or dry doesn't work, it leaves visible marks.
I've tried also sand/glass blasting, small parts can be ok , but on larger gives me bad blasting stipes/marks. Suggestions?
Is there some chemical?

What is your trick?

If the pattern is matte then the mould will be matte :-)

Yeh as Steve alluded to, the best way to get a matte finish on your mould is to have a matte finish on the pattern. Sanding doesn't give the same effect as you have discovered, so the best way is to use a matte additive in your 2k clear coat when your spray your pattern. Then you want to be careful when applying your release agent etc so that you don't buff up the matte finish and leave it looking uneven.

@ Hanaldo
Yes, but my moulds are for solid surface, that's the point why I can't use matte additive.
