Hello, i have used the hi-gloss pattern coat a while now. I use it with the spray cup gun and a #3 nozzle, and i thin the coat with about 10% acetone
I always get a bad result with lots of tiny high spots. But this morning I got a good result with a flat surface, but I dont understand why.
How do you do it, and what is the best way to apply it with a cup gun?

Why are you spraying it with a cup gun? You would achieve a much better finish using a HVLP spray...

I use it because I don't have a spray gun. And the cleaning of the cup gun is fast and easy.

Cleaning a HVLP gun is quick and easy too, I've never found cleaning the cup gun to be any easier...

Normally we would recommend about 25% pure acetone to thin it down. It may be the 10% you are using...
