Hi Warren
That looks cracking!
Do you have to coat the inside with some oil resistant layer or is carbon ok for that? Could you do the same for an oil tank?
Are those threaded inserts Alu?
Did you change your mind half way thru about bonding two halves together?

Is this a functioning oil/air separator or more of a flashy empty can? Ie. does it have any internal baffles to catch the oil? Not a dig, just wondering and interested to know how you put the baffles in place if it has them?
Also interested to know how you're attaching the fittings?
Hi, its a flashy empty can
Because its a race engine and tends to "breath" a bit heavier than a standard engine the regulations require an "oil reservoir" to be fitted. He is using a plastic washer bottle at the moment
Threaded inserts will be bonded on to take the hose tails and two push in air fittings and some PVC clear tube will be used as a level indicator.

Nice work Warren.

Cheers Chris, its only 220mm long and 110mm OD so was a bit of a pain to lay-up
Hows the Atom project coming along?
Warren
Hi Warren
Almost done
working on some strange items at the moment plus preparing my race bike for the start of the season.
Regards Chris
Sounds interesting
Look forward to seeing some pics of the Atom in all its glory. A lot of the work I am doing is covered by NDA's so can't post pics which is a bit frustrating
