Well not quite a full leg but one of my customers (and a good friend) had a problem with his plastic lower leg support so asked i could help him out. The result is an over engineered component with three layers of 450g carbon and one layer of Kevlar , it still weighs less than the part its replacing and is strong enough to be used on a baby elephant Smile All materials from EC . Please take note, making items like the one below must be done so with extreme caution and doing so without the correct knowledge/liability insurance etc could leave you open to litigation should it fail and cause injury. I am doing this as a request from a friend and will not be making the part on a commercial basis .

Is this for drop foot?

I've got to do the same part for someone soon, we're just waiting for him to get his muscle back to cast the leg and then produce a bespoke support

Looks very good, does it flex much when walking?

Hi
Not sure of his medical condition, to say it is strong is an understatement i may have to produce another with a bit more flex Smile

Great stuff. How would you make the laminate more flexible?

Less layers = more flexible. Replace carbon with kevlar also would make it more flexible.
