Hi,

I've seen videos where somebody creates a simple formwork around the front edge an old kitchen worktop and pours clear or pigmented epoxy resin over the worktop up to an inch or so, popping small surface bubbles with a blow torch and quickly transforming it into a beautiful glass-like surface with no unsightly carpentry joins. Question is:

1. What's the best epoxy for this? I'm thinking 'coating resin'?
2. Providing it's level, is this as easy as it looks or will I be entering a world of pain?

Thanks for your help.

Regards, James Hewings

There are some special resins for this kind of things,... some staff member can probably help you further.
Leveling it shouldn't be that difficult I guess, use some tools to level the surface
