Just be aware that it does actually stress the carbon and make it quite weak. I am surprised that it has that much of a weakening effect. However, this was going to be used to adjust a door shut line so that wouldn't be an issue.

Ok, that's interesting. Why does it do that? Is the heat you're applying above the HDT of the pre-preg? What resin system?

I think I have just copied what happens when non post cured carbon is left out in the sun, it sags as it post cures. I twisted the carbon, held it in place and heated it with a hot air gun to around....
