+xYeh I've done this before for patching holes in bodywork on panels with slight curvature. Just be aware that it does actually stress the carbon and make it quite weak.
I am surprised that it has that much of a weakening effect. However, this was going to be used to adjust a door shut line so that wouldn't be an issue.
