Here we go, the Nissan skyline GTR  engine cover.
This part is extremely tricky to work with resin infusion, the most critical steps is set up the CF on the mould without any spotlight distortion weave, there are some trick I would like to share. As you can see below that the part has already one, but i decide to mould it again because I got a orange peel conture on the mould and also the part may you can't  spot it at pict. Yes, first I spray poxy filler for 3 times then wet sanded to remove the peel orange surface. The pict how to set up the CF part will be post here soon after I finish the mould.

It's made from carbon fibre/4 layer because of  high temp replacement part.

Regards

I'm new here on the forum and I'm really enjoying seeing the different projects.

This bike fender and the engine cover are so well done. I hope to be able and do something so nice one day.
