Hii,
I present this pict for beloved Talkcomposites forum member, may can help your lastest project.
Process:
Resin Infusion
Composition:
1 layer of Carbon fibre 2/2twill 200gr
2 layer of Fibre glass WR 290gr
300gr oof epoxy resin
Finishing:
Spies hacker plastic primer 3 coat
Spies hacker clear coat 4 coat

Process of producing the part was not use any gel coat like GC 50, just normal wax no 8 without buffing the surface (not gloss surface) to void hard sticking when demolds. The gloss finish is only clear coat and polishing work.

I just saw that on the finishing you said you used Spies Hacker plastic primer. Is it Clear? Why not just clear coat, have you seen any advantages???

Yes it takes lots of advantage, plastic primer applied first to ensure that the clear coat get the proper surface to stick on the carbon fibre parts, then void pin holes effect or fish eye when clear coat apply.
