Group: Forum Members Posts: 550, Visits: 27K	It could be done without cutting the fabric, but the fibre alignment would look nicer if you cut out the bumps and cover them with small circular pieces. That way, it would be much easier to avoid bridging. The part seems to be quite flat. So it should be easy to make a template for the cut offs. Spray tack a second layer to the first one, before you cut the holes to avoid fraying.

I ask this as different weaves have different drape characteristics. Also, a lighter cloth will drape easier, so maybe more layers of lighter material? I await being corrected by oakmont and hanaldo :-)

So if you are trying to work on the bridging of one bump, you pull on the other. Better drape characteristics don't help with that issue. Each bump for itself isn't that difficult. Should be easily possible with 240g/m^2. It is only difficult to get everything in the corners at the same time, while keeping a nice fibre alignment on the flat piece.

This is exactly the issue I'm having. Im pushing into the corner of one bump and can see it pulling away from the other. I think I'm going to cut circles out where the bumps are and try that
