a Group: Forum Members Posts: 22, Visits: 95	I want to use 2mm Lantor Soric for building a model boat and I want to place the infusion spiral in the middle of the part. Do I need to cut the Lantor Soric in halves just below the infusion spiral or will the resin flow through it? On all videos I have seen, the resin starts flowing from the edge, but I am not sure if I can put the spiral on top.

Resin flows through Soric very well so you will not need to cut through it at all.

Yes, put peel ply or release film under the spiral. You only don't need to use it when you aren't putting anything directly on top of the laminate, ie. flow mesh. If you've got any consumables that.....

exacly. And the slowest point was obviously the soric, otherwise the resin would not have been pushed from the feed line to the soric, to a point where you can easily lift the bag. A good flow media....
