As title says really. After polishing the mould to hight gloss shine. Then waxing several times ready for the first part to be layed up. I use a polyester gel coat.
The first part come out of the mould ok but my new shiney new mould is now dull?
I don't want to pollish again or I will have to go through the coats of realese wax again.
Any help thanks.

Sounds like a small degree of cross linking occurred. This should occur less as you use the mould more. Polish it up again and redo the wax; when using wax you should reapply it with every pull anyway.

I would do it for the first 3-5 pulls.
