Group: Forum Members Posts: 26, Visits: 89	I'm doing a resin infusion so I need a flange all the way around were I have this big gap do I have to just build a wall out of modelling from the base up to the part? I'm using the epoxy tooling gel and putty kit from ec. Tags flange Mould

Group: Forum Members Posts: 300, Visits: 2.2K	Hi David, You can just build a wall of modeling plasticine with a layer of filleting wax on the final layer. But if you don't have enough you could just pack it up with some thing, I have used all sorts in the past to pack it up to the required level. Most of the time I try to use fluted signboard hot glued to the underside and supported for the flanges and plasticine with a touch of filleting wax to smooth off the edges. Group: Forum Members Posts: 26, Visits: 89	Thanks davro confirmed what I thought it just looks like I made it a lot harder than it should of been :-) when you say four inch flanges you mean where I I paint the tooling gelcoat onto the base board yes?
