Group: Forum Members Posts: 300, Visits: 2.2K	Hi David, You can just build a wall of modeling plasticine with a layer of filleting wax on the final layer. But if you don't have enough you could just pack it up with some thing, I have used all sorts in the past to pack it up to the required level. Most of the time I try to use fluted signboard hot glued to the underside and supported for the flanges and plasticine with a touch of filleting wax to smooth off the edges. Group: Forum Members Posts: 26, Visits: 89	Thanks davro confirmed what I thought it just looks like I made it a lot harder than it should of been :-) when you say four inch flanges you mean where I I paint the tooling gelcoat onto the base board yes? Group: Forum Members Posts: 300, Visits: 2.2K	4 inch flange from the edge of the product to the outside edge of the mould, basically enough space to layup the stack and stick down the edge of the carbon and lay the infusion lines, gum tape with out struggling for space. Wow that is some Technicolor plasticine you got there, make sure the plasticine is nice and flat and the edges are nice and smooth it's worth taking the time to get a decent finish on the mould.
