Hey Kylle,
that looks like standard 200g 2/2 twill carbon to me, to repair it I woudl go to chop out the rough cracked areas with a dremel and then sand the area for about an inch arond the hole and cut some peices of profinish cloth (i'd use profinish so it doesn't fray on the cut lines) and carfully laminate over the area, i'd guess you'd be best using the high temperature epoxy resin, about 2 or 3 layers would be enough i'm sure, then when it's cured sand it down smooth and apply another thin coat of resin to seal it and give it a gloss. this sort of repair won't be invisable (I don't think you can make an invisable repair on carbon) but it should be strong and look neat.
