This is an upper section/tacho mount for a classic race bike, the original part in glass fibre weighs 350 grams and the carbon component is 80 grams. I used wet lay and vacuum  bag. I will be making a complete fairing later this week for the same bike .

Hi Warren

Yes i have a pump and all the items req ie spiral tube, why not use them ? a good question, i have had some good results using wet lay and vacuum bag and most the parts i make are  for go and not show and the race bodywork will be painted. I do feel tempted to use it on the next fairing . what is the current situation with suitable spray adhesives to hold the layers of cloth on place ? i may become a convert Smile
