Hi guys...
I'm beginning to be very happy with the result I get with the resin infusion but I still have a problem ... in the photos I have attached there is a piece of a ducati 1098, the surface I think is of good standard but in some points there are "mysterious" and deep resin accumulation that I can't understand ..
can you help me ??
Thanks so much
Manuel (SORRY for my English..sorry !!! Tongue)

Hi!

Check out the GC50 "Epoxy Compatible Polyester Gelcoat" in the EC catalog .. Smile

The only thing I can think of then is bridging --in other words:  the Carbon cloth is not fully in contact with the mould, and the "void" has then been filled with cloudy looking resin,

Are you using PVA release on top of wax? -- I have very little experience with PVA release, but it sounds to me like that is not a good idea, I would expect the PVA to run off the wax, and form little puddles in some parts of the mould .. maybe that is what gives you the problems with the cloudy looking resin?
