Dear friends
hi
i am applying gel coat on fiberglass mold . for dark color i need to reach matte color

apaqua " surface
.
i add some fillers but i did not reach perfect color .
please help me what can i add to normal pigment paste to reach matte surface ?
i do not want shinny surface .

You can't get a matte finish out of a shiny mould. Only way to sort of do it is to spray PVA release agent as a 'dust' to take the shine away. But it isn't a true matte, its more of a texture.

You can get a good matt finish post demoulding with a satin/matt lacquer. However as Hanaldo said, no way to really get it a matt finish straight from the mould.
