Hi, I am trying to cast Smooth On Crystal Clear 202 inside a pressure pot at 55 psi. The surface is very spiky. First I thought it might be moisture in the air coming from the compressor but it’s still does it even after fitting a moisture trap. Any insight to what the problem might be?

Spiky is an odd description, I cant picture what you mean. Can you post a photo? 

What type of mould are you using, silicone?

I'm doing a vacuum infusion glass lay up. The problem I'm have is my product is coming out with orange peel finish instead of glossy. Using a Partall PVA #10 mold release. 

You may be demoulding too soon and getting a bit of print through. 

PVA is not the best for surface finish. Often if leaves a bit of surface marring that needs a light sand and polish to remove, so that may be part of the problem.
