Hi I have made many river tables now with this same method but in this translucent black I have a problem. I have a line in the resin that follows the shape of my live edge the resin is rock solid it's been on my router sled so it's not a surface problem either the top of the table has the problem but the bottom is very dark  like the pigment has dropped to the bottom in places. It's 100% mixed properly and never had anything like this happen before and to follow a uniform line on the live edge I no somethings up but have no clue what it's was done in two pours at 20mm each I need an answer for this it's driven me crazy all week

Is that mark on the surface? does it sand out?  It looks like it could be where the pigments sunk a bit and there is some refraction there.  or it could be where it has sunk/separated it has left a bit of "scum" or ink tide line.  It will probably be following the edge due to surface tension.

Hopefully it should come off with a polish.

At that level of pigment, I would suggest you are better off going for the solid colour pigments.  You will find it much easier to get a solid colour rather than "overusing" the tinting pigments to get a solid colour.

No it's not on the surface it's been on my router sled and sanded it's all the way through the resin it won't polish out I've tried it's a shame there really is not that much pigment in there it looks a lot darker in the photo as it's on my work bench I hope it doesent happen again it's caused me to have to scrap the table really it not something I can sell now looking like that and more frustrating that I've done it before with even more pigment without any issues ... room is at a controlled temp of 20 degrees a big shame
Thanks for the advice and any more would be great
Thank you

You could sand way a couple of mm of the resin then backfill with properly pigmented resin to hide it?  That may be a way to recover it.

I would certainly go for solid colour pigments on future tables if that is the effect you want.
