I am looking for information on what resin to use in a high temperature project. It needs to be good up to 400 celcius.

Kind of out of thermoset resin territory, especially for resin infusion. I doubt there's any commercially available pre-pregs that could get up there either, that's getting close to needing ceramic.

Going to be a handgaurd for a rifle. It won't touch the barrle, but it will get close.

i dont think you will need something that goes to that high temp if its a handguard, you can use insulator materials between the barrel and thecomposite part to allow for that. Theres plenty of...

lots of thermosets can be postcured up to 200degrees, where are you located? It would be best speaking to your local reseller and seeing what they stock.

Stuttgart. Not sure where would carry carbon fiber materials. I am very uneducated in the area of carbon fiber.
