I am infusing ly556  resin and hy951 hardener with glass fibres to produce laminates of size 300mmx 150mm with 2 mm thickness. problem is as soon i open the resin line for infusion, resin accumulates around the line ad leaks out between bagging tape and vacuum bag. please help to resolve this problem

     Could it be, that the bag is just damaged by the stretched spiral? Spirals usually have quite sharp edges. Some vacuum bagging films can easily be damaged by these. try to simply plug the resin hose...

             Hi Oekmont, The sharp edges of the spirals were taped with tacky tape to avoid any damage to the bag. Also i have tried inserting resin feed line into one end of the spiral. the result is still same....
