The amount of epoxy that 2mm soric needs ??? please HELP

I wants to purchase the 2mm lantor soric that easy composites has. I have read on the specification sheet that it takes 1 kg of epoxy per 1 meter square is that correct, because i feel that it is too much !!

Those figures are correct.  There is quite a lot of gaps between the soric that fill with resin.  If you run the infusion resin rich, it can be even more.

However it is not all bad as the resin honeycomb matrix adds to the strength of the panel as well as the core still being much lighter than a similar solid laminate thus saving weight for a panel of similar stiffness made from solid material.
