Hi everyone,

Sorry for my poor English.

I want to use carbon fiber to fix/reinforce my scooter ABS parts.
The plan is make some carbon fiber tenon(Sorry. I am not sure how to call it in English...) to replace original tenon on the part.
Please refer to the red mark in the picture.

I need make two materials stick together(ABS and carbon fiber).
The question is what kind of adhesive should I use?
E515, ET500, ET538,  PT326, PU18  or others solution/advised?

Best Regards & Thanks

The ABS needs to be treated to allow the epoxy to bond.

CLEAN
ABRADE (400grit)
CLEAN
FLAME TREAT (Pass a naked flame from a blowtorch over it quick enough not to char/burn/deform the ABS but slow enough to react the surface)
ALLOW TO COOL
EPOXY

Don't touch the flame treated surface otherwise the oils in your skin will stop the thing from bonding.

Search Youtube for ABS Flame Treatment

Chris is correct with the preparation and epoxy will bond when used in this way.

However we would recommend our VuduGlu™ VM100 Black as it has a slightly better bond strength when used on hard to bond to plastics such as ABS.

Depending on how much your going to do you might like to try

Wurth Sabasto Replast easy

Its used to repair plastic bumpers so sticks without all the other hassle

Also unlike 99% of other glues when it sets it doesn't go hard and brittle it still has a bit of flex

Also sticks to carbon Very well

comes in 3 different speeds an is designed to be used with a applicator gun and mixer nozzles which can work out expensive but most of the time we forget about the nozzles and just use the gun to dispence onto a mixing board an mix by hand
