Hello guys

can not understand or to find when i do work with vinilyster resin and i put piece into owen at what temperature and how many hours do i have to hold it?
as one guy told 2-3 hours at temperature 50-70 C , so i holded but took out parts surface hard but when to brush with paper like 100 its a little tacky like it was. do not get.

I´m not sarcastic, but you should read the technical data sheet. There´s a lot of chemistry involved on resins.... and each resin may be different from the other.. TDS will give you the especific needings for your resin. It´s your bible (with respect)

1 hour 25ºC should be enough if properly catalyzed (and accelerated ?). (again, TDS)

For the tacky surface MAY BE you´ll have to isulate surface from oxygen. But again, read TDS. Waxed styren may be added to resin to create a suface barrier isulating from the oxygen. Or a vac bag. Or cello plastic, or waxed gel coat (top coat)....

Thank you as bigger layers i layed like 2 large layers and at 50 c not enough was 2 hours. but when i put with one layer in 40c for 2 hours was already not bad. so keep trying.
