Hi there, thought I would join up see what projects like minded people have.

I'm a pre-preg laminator working within the Motorsport industry focusing mainly on automotive and F1
Before this I was working in the aerospace industry I've been laminating 2 years

Pictures are limited but I have a couple I can upload

Fresh out the mould mainly

Mclaren mp4 rear wing straight from break out

Nissan GTR rear bumper again straight from the mould

And a random fuel flap I made for my Golf

Hello

Thanks for posting pictures, please keep them coming! Very very nice work!

Would you mind answering a few questions?

1  In your autoclave what PSI pressure do you use?

2  What temperature schedule do you use and max temp?

3  Do you do the surface layer in one shot and then build up the bulk of your thickness in a second shot?

4 Or do you do it all in one shot?

5 Do you allow a debulking time under full vacuum before you put it in the autoclave?

Thanks a million!

Fred
