Finishing the peel ply side of the mould

Group: Forum Members Posts: 61, Visits: 380	I'd like to get the back part of my mould painted, but I've no idea how to get a smooth finish on that side of it (the peel ply side) Do I sand it down? Brush another layer of resin?

Sand down and a couple of heavy coats of lacquer would be how I go for a one off

Sand and lacquer or sand and thin coat of resin are the two simplest methods.
