Haha. You sound like me with the stash of big brakes.

Can't wait to see the finished carbon part.

Nice work, you must have been ready to fall over with fumes using unimold, a very god system especially for polishing up I only use during summer when I can work out side ,I seem to have a low tolerance to polyesters resin.god luck.

I've had some issues before so I use a mask now :-)

I have 6 pots all round on the other car I'm building... But the noble simply doesn't need it and the extra weight wouldn't be worth it.

I have plenty of Brembo and AP calipers lying around including some massive 6 pots :-)

From what he said earlier, he probably doesn't need the extra clamping force being mid-engined.

Andy, as always, your moulds seem to have come out great and you make it look far easier than it actually is!!

No, he definitely does not need it with the weight reduction and balance of the car, but my question was more to whether he was looking at going to a six piston just as an upgrade since he redoing the entire car. More of a "want" item than a "need" item, or just putting the cherry on top of this amazing build.

Molds look great. It's funny that you guys are talking about big brakes. I'm a  big big brake fan. Brembo is my specialty. I have them on all my cars. I actually used to build brake kits at my shop. AP racing is in the brembo family. The brake setup that you have looks like it is good for the car especially with the weight. New rotor size will help out with head dispersion. You ever think about moving up to the six piston calipers?

They are larger than 5200's although I have a brand new set of this on my mondeo... I upgraded the discs to 355mm recently with the stock calipers although the standard 325mm setup is more than good enough even with my power. Remmeber the car weighs very little and being mid engined the brake balance is higher to rear Han a front engined car.

Moulds are finished. Will start cleaning them up ready to pull in February.

Looking good so far!!

Is that AP racing cp5200 4 pot calipers on the front end?? I'd of thought they'd have fitted bigger brakes from the factory for what is such a high powered car!!
