I appreciate the offer, but I'm in Australia!
I also need to modify this one a little bit. The car has a custom made lightweight windscreen with internal heating which is a different size to the standard windscreen, so there is a 20mm gap between the stock fibreglass roof and the windscreen. So I'll be modifying the roof to bring it back down and sit under the seal again. I also need to find 10-15mm of extra headroom as the driver currently hits his head, so I'll likely be chopping a large section of the inner skin out.

Thoroughly enjoyed going through this - great job.
What weight saving have you seen by going down the full CF route?

Ah, that'd be a problem. :lol:I also cut out sections of the inner to reduce weight leaving a figure eight shapped inner. I'd be inetersted to see how you get on.

45kgs in the carbon bodywork... but Ive saved another 20 kgs in general 'stuff' that was on the car under the tub (wiring, brackets, nuts and bolts) that didn't do anything and were just dead weight.
Im planning on making my own seats soon and am replacing the alloy flooring under the car with carbon so there is still a little more planned... my single turbo engine package and clutch package also saved me quite a bit of weight over a standard car. so I'm actually 100kgs lighter than other well modified nobles (going up in power adds around 50kgs to the car due to intercoolers, extra rads etc etc)
I run a motec M800 ecu and mapped some of the advanced settings the other day to unleash the boy racer in me
