Hi!

Can I make Epoxy tooling for casting polyester resin parts, or there are problems between these two?
Can I make Epoxy tooling with UG1 Uni-Mould Tooling Gelcoat or I need to use Epoxy Tooling Gelcoat?

Thanks

Generally the problem is the other way round, epoxy in polyester.  So you should be able to make a mould from epoxy and use it to make polyester parts.  If you are only making polyester parts then a traditional polyester based mould system would likely be a cheaper option.

The Uni-Mould System uses a Vinylester tooling Gelcoat which means it is fine to make epoxy, polyester and vinylester parts in a Uni-Mould tool.

Thanks. I know polyester is cheaper, but I need to make near zero shrinkage tooling.
