I've got a kg of EL80 and I've been having a little play with some offcuts of cloth to see how it cures.  One thing I did notice is that its fairly viscous.  Is it OK to warm it a touch to thin it down a bit?

Would a review of my test pieces be of use?  If so I'd appreciate a few pointers of what people woould like to see.

Here's what I made.  Its a splitter for my car.  It was done in an open mould with 1x200g outer layer to look pretty followed by a 660g layer.  I put in a 660g layer on just the bolting plate with EL2 to make it rigid followed by another full layer of 660g with the EF80.

I tried to herringbone the weave pattern down the centre but I got an odd fibre come loose that spoils it a bit.

This is a GRP one mounted on my friends car.  I assume you'll appreciate why I've used the flexible resin!

Amazing! - That looks fantastic and is an intruigingly good cosmetic finish for a hand laminated product, especially using a flexible resin system. I'd be very interested to know how it holds up over the months and years.

Thanks for the post Smile
