I've been using a product called Elmers repositionable spray. I just give a gentle spray on the fabric, not the mould, wait 5 minutes then position it. No issues with delaminating.

I have used some cheap spray glue to hold my carbon reinforcement in the mold whilst laminating up
Not alot just a quick squirt
Yes its gone off and hard but you can peel the laminate apart
so be warned,!!!!
I will be getting the real stuff when available :-)
That is weird to say the least. What kind of glue did you use? I do use a tackifier meant for epoxy so I can get a warm fuzzy feeling about using the right stuff. But I have used 3m 77 without any problems at all. It seems to me that whatever you used disolved during infusion and became a barrier chemically to the epoxy as it cross linked.
Many guys use even cheap hairspray without problems.
One thing I have learned the hard way is this. Always do a small test piece when trying something different than what is your regular practice.

The cheap solution until a decent spray tack comes back in stock is to mix some infusion resin and thin it down with methylated spirits and spritze it onto the mould/fabric to hold the fabric in place.
Being the right resin to start with, it will be fine for infusing with and shouldnt react with anything.

Hi Daz,
I have also noticed this. It almost seems like the carbon is not even fully wetting out, the resin is just between the nodes and not between the individual filaments and it all just becomes one big expensive peel ply...
