Hi,

I have some CFRP plates (High Strength Carbon Fibre Sheet 2mm 250 x 225mm) from EasyComposites. I would like to do some finite element modeling simulation, but the properties shared on the easycomposites website are very very limited.

Is it possible to get the accurate mechanical properties of the plate, like the orthotropic elasticity, strain and stress limits, damping factors...?

It's always hard to get specific data for composite materials. This usually leads to making tests of your sample, and calculating the propertys backwards from there.
