Dear easycomposites,

I intend to do this Project, i was planning to do it withlike the skateboard tutorial you have on YouTube… just with thinner wood.

Do you have any ideas on how much layers i would probably Need?I was wondering also how the Wood could bend in future?? It should stay in hisshape.

The Rhino object would be my mould. Thickness, i dont know, probably 5-7mm?
Thanks alot! Franzis

The layup depends what you are trying to achieve.  4mm of laminate should be nice and strong.

Hey Warren. i finished the mold! as its just a onetime project, i mean i just need it once, i am thinking about laminating the whole thing and then destroying the mold.
i could follow your laminating instructions but it would take some time and in the end i just need one piece, so its kind of not worth, to make laminate molds of the mould for beeing able to produce the object.
what  do you think? i hope i didnt conufse you that much!
oh one more question: is it possible to sand laminated objects? i mean is it easy to sand with polyester hardened chopped strtand mats ?

as the mould is a spiral , i probably need to destroy it to release it from the laminate because it will lock with the laminate
