I am working on a college project to make the body of the car shown in the first picture using the resin infusion method, i have a previous experience in making composite parts before using the resin infusion method, but i have never done something this big.

I am deeply confused about the way i have to place the spiral tube and where to locate the inlet and exit ports to ensure that the resin will flow every where in the second picture this pattern is what i am planning to do, the red lines represent the spiral tube, the blue dot represents the vacuum exit ports and the black dots represent the epoxy inlet ports.

I will be very happy to hear your suggestions.

I would still go from one side to the other. As well as the usual U shape of spiral, I would add a couple of short lengths to ensure resin gets down to the bottom of the mould where the roof is.. Put the vacuum port on the sill.

I would do it from the middle. One resin inlet port in the middle with one line of feed spiral running down 2/3rds of the long direction. Vacuum spiral completely around the perimeter with two ports diagonally opposite each other (so in the two corners of the 'rectangular' shape).
