Can PVA be used as a release agent on the pattern for the initial cure then washed of the mould when the pattern is removed for the post cure ?.

What temperature will the mould reach in the initial cure ?.

How long is the shelf life ?.

Cheers.

Although PVA could be used for the room temperature cure, we would generally avoid it for high quality parts as PVA leaves slight surface marring which needs to be polished out.  A modern chemical release agent would be a better choice,

Thanks,

Any idea what kind of temps the intial cure will reach as i'd like to mould a PLA plastic object that has a of tg 65ish ?. And the shelf life ?.
Cheers.
